1.What is a "CityDeals Share Code"?
A Share Code is a unique coupon code provided by CityDeals for the purpose of rewarding our users for 'sharing' information about our products and services. Users can use their Share Code for personal discounts or share it with others. When friends and family (outside your residence) use your Share Code, you get a commission on their qualifying purchases. Please see our Terms and Conditions for more details.
2. Do I receive commissions when using my own Share Code
at check out?
No. You only get a commission if people outside your household address use your Share Code.
3.Will my Share Code discount work on any product?
No. Your Share Code discount has the same restrictions as other site-wide coupons. There are a handful of products you cannot use a coupon on (e.g. CityDeals gift cards, AMC Theatres, Seven Peaks Passes, Utah PGA Golf Pass, etc.). We always put the restriction information on the product page in the "Details and Restrictions" section. Always check the "Details and Restrictions" section to make sure you can use your code.
4.Can I use another person's Share Code?
No. Once you are issued a Share Code, you cannot use another's Share Code.
5. Can other people use multiple Share Codes?
No. Only one Share Code can be used per order.
6. Will Customer Service credit my account if I forget to use my Share Code or if someone else forgets to use my Share Code?
No. Unfortunately, customer service will not be able to credit your account.
7. What discount do others receive if they use my Share Code.
Check the daily email to learn of the discount for that day.
8. How do I sign up and get my Share Code?
There is no need to sign up. Your Share Code will be provided in your
daily email.
9.When do I receive my credit?
You will be supplied CityDeals credit around the 15th of every month for the previous month’s sales.
10. How much account credit will I receive?
You will be given CityDeals credit based on the number of purchases completed by customers who used your Share Code. However, we do subtract returns and fraud.
11. Does my Share Code ever change?
Once your unique Share Code is issued, it will remain tied to your account for the life of the account and the program.
12. How can I track how many people used my code?
All reporting and tracking of the use of Share Codes will be completed behind the scenes and not accessible to Users at this time.
13. Why will I be shown an “Estimated Monthly Payout”
We verify and double check all orders that used a Share Code to prevent fraud. Additionally, we reverse credits for any returned orders. If a product is returned commission is not given.
