Cuisine
Chef Peggi Whiting traveled from Salt Lake to Japan to study the techniques of one of the eminent sushi masters. Sushi is the focus, with a variety of nigiri, maki and special rolls adapted to Utah tastes. The menu offers tempura, teriyaki and sukiyaki dishes. There are yummy appetizers for the liking but sushi is the main event.
Atmosphere
Housed in a 19th century historic church, complete with original brick and mortar and choir loft converted tatami rooms, it’s understandable why some have dubbed their sushi as “heavenlyâ€.
